FBI Terror Suspect Wanted to Explode Bush Home in Dallas

Share News:

Oh. My. God. The FBI has arrested a Saudi student in Texas and charged him with attempting to construct improvised explosives and compiling a list of possible targets, including the home of former President George W. Bush. Yes. This home on Daria right here in Dallas on Daria Place. The student,  Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, is 20 years old, and is charged in a federal criminal complaint with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. Mr. Aldawsari is in the U.S. on a 2008 student visa, and is enrolled at tiny South Plains College, near Lubbock, Texas, which is the home of Texas Tech University.

Gives me the chills. He wasn’t going to stop with the Bush home: he also is said to have been targeting nightclubs in Dallas, reservoirs and dams in the west, and nuclear power plants. Our worst nightmare. With all the turmoil in the Mideast, perhaps we should be on higher (doll) terror alert?

Update: readers are telling me they saw S.W.A.T. teams out near Daria this morning.

OMG! I passed Daria this morning on my way to drop off at school, and I saw what I thought was Dallas SWAT outside of the house.

He was hanging out in Lubbock? Really? Not the best place for a terrorist to "blend in."

Hats off to the people that cracked the case – the outcome could have been so different – and I am sure that Mr Terrorist was the perfect kid next door – really
