Extending a legacy of leading the luxury real estate market in Texas, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate has set its sights on Fort Worth. With an all-new office and expert leadership, @properties Christie’s will bring an unparalleled service standard to the seat of Tarrant County.

To drive this endeavor, @properties Christie’s tapped powerhouse broker Michael Hoover as Regional Vice President. With an extensive industry background and leadership experience at both Monument and Sotheby’s, Hoover is primed to run brokerage operations and grow the office from a team of 20 agents at launch to 50 agents in the next 90 days.

“Michael is a broker’s broker,” said Jerry Mooty Jr., Owner of @properties Christie’s International Real Estate. “He knows what it takes to sell just about any type of property in any market, he knows how to grow a brokerage business; and he knows the tools, training, and support that agents need to be successful – and specifically to be successful in and around Fort Worth. His leadership, along with Christie’s International Real Estate’s unparalleled luxury affiliate network and best-in-class brokerage tech, will raise the bar for real estate in this market.”

Hoover has been in this business for nearly 30 years. He began his career as a land developer before opening his own real estate business in 1999. As one of the most recognizable names in Fort Worth real estate, Hoover has gained extensive experience across a spectrum of specialties including new-home sales and development, relocation, farm and ranch sales, and waterfront properties.

After growing Monument’s Fort Worth branch from a startup to more than 150 agents and $350 million in sales, he’s looking to leave his mark on the @properties Christie’s legacy.

“Getting to know Jerry, I was incredibly impressed by @properties lone star Christie’s International Real Estate’s emphasis on culture, innovation, and client service, which make it stand out amongst all of the real estate firms in our market. Those elements, along with the industry-leading resources and reputation of Christie’s International Real Estate, made this move an easy choice,” added Hoover. “With the growth of the luxury market in Fort Worth, now is the perfect time to introduce this prestigious brand.”

Aiding him in this initiative are Sara O’Canna as Director of Agents and Leslie Potenzo with Agent Services. They play crucial roles in everything from recruiting to onboarding.

“Sara is an amazing recruiter and coach and will be instrumental in building the culture here,” said Hoover. “Leslie is the quintessential agent services lead. Her experience with agents and providing them with all they need is imperative in ensuring our success here.”

Currently, the office at 3100 W. 7TH in Fort Worth’s West Seventh Street District is well-equipped to take on an array of luxury listings west of I-35. As the agency grows, Hoover intends to leverage @propertie’s Christie’s stand-out resources to serve a wide range of property types and price points.

“@propertie’s Christie’s has such incredible brand power and recognition,” said Hoover. “In this new Fort Worth office, I’m looking forward to building an awesome culture where agents never want to leave. I want to keep a smaller boutique service standard and maintain that distinct Fort Worth feel while continuing to build on this incredible global brand.”
