Win $1,000 Just For Going To a Party… Where I Can Smell the Testosterone: Dallas Real Estate News

Share News:

I’ve told you about this house before: A Man Cave deep in the heart of Preston Hollow, with more baths than days of the week, and SEVEN living areas and fireplaces. YU DARVISH could totally afford it! Now you can win $1000 by coming to a fun party —  food by Adelmo’s — at 5242 Park Lane, the beautiful striking home built by Bella Custom Homes. It’s a perfect example of LUSH Preston Hollow living with a capital “L”.

The gated estate, one of many new on this rue, offers over 11,000 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, seven full and three half baths, seven living areas, and a 4-car garage… perfect for four Testarossas.   The front entrance is a chastity belt with no less than three sets of heavy iron and glass doors; no burglar will ever get through that! Besides, this hood has private ARMED patrols, no monkey business here!

The grand two-story foyer is appointed with imported limestone floors, intricate onyx inlay, and a floating staircase with an exquisite hand-bent iron balustrade. Opening from the foyer is the formal living area with soaring ceilings, tons of light, gorgeous wood floors, and one of seven massive masonry fireplaces.

Good Lord, this sounds like Andre Beltre’s home!

Custom millwork frames the entry to the large formal dining room, with a coffered ceiling, dramatic crystal chandelier, and a Venetian plaster wall treatment. There is a decked out kitchen and catering kitchen. Cheerful breakfast room and ample, yet cozy, family room.

And then you get to the men’s retreat. Or, as I call it, the Testosterone Zone.

I can smell the testosterone in here: there’s the bar, wine-cellar, and wine-tasting room. Thanks God the master suite is nearby (though I do think the Testosterone Zone needs a fainting couch!), with high ceilings, fireplace, and two sumptuous baths with large walk-in closets. The nearby formal library — more Testosterone — has rich wood paneling, a fireplace, built-ins and plenty of natural light. Not too far away is the guest suite with private bath, of course.

Upstairs, three bedroom suites, large game room will full bar,  exercise room, craft room, and a multi-level home theatre. Like it outdoors? The home takes full advantage of the one plus acre corner lot with an outdoor living area boasting stone flooring, vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, fireplace, and summer kitchen.

This house has it all. It’s only $7,995,000. And it make me think. I have ten million dollars to spend. Do I go up to Hickory Creek and bid on Champ d’Or, or make a deal and buy this flawless specimen for $7,995,000 by one of the best builders in the city. Where else am I going to find a Testosterone Zone?

Decisions, decisions. Turbeville Road versus Park Lane. Kelcy Warren for a neighbor versus Chilis. That’s a tough one.

Oh, about that $1,000. Agents Mark Cain and Susie Swanson  offering a $1,000 drawing for the attendee who completes a comment card AND most closely predicts the actual sales price.

In other words, who has ESP? This all happens Thursday night from four to seven p.m. right there at Testosterone Town…

I have much respect for Mark and the way he conducts his business, best of luck to him moving this amazing house. He was able to move 10340 Gaywood and now his listing on Brookview is under contract, I have no doubt he'll sell this as well.

I toured this home when Mark had it open one day. Beautiful. I especially love the outdoor living area.
