Imagine living on Dallas’ most desirable street, owning not one but two amazing properties on Beverly Drive. This is pretty amazing stuff coming to us from Rogers Healy, who has listed 3414 and 3412 Beverly Drive on the market for $12 million.

CandysDirt.com Approved Builder Robert Elliott built this luxury estate that our own Karen Eubank dubs modern traditional when she wrote about 3414 Beverly Drive’s completion in 2017. Now a year and a half later, this home has the rare opportunity to become a family compound in Highland Park.

The family purchased this home to live in, bought the house next door, tore it down and began building entertaining quarters to create a luxury family compound. But as they say, other adventures came calling. And so we present to you, your future Park Cities compound.

The sprawling estate at 3414 Beverly Drive is 10,282 square feet with six bedrooms, six baths, and two powder baths. It’s situated on 0.29 acres, combined with next door’s 0.31 acres, you’re looking at over half an acre on prime land. (more…)

luxury family compound

Just when you think you can’t be blown away by a Monday Morning Millionaire, we discover not just one, but two homes built next to each other on the best street in town. That’s right — this is a Beverly Drive luxury family compound.

The Kennedy or Bush family compounds probably spring to mind, but when you are talking serious luxury, it pales in comparison to this luxury family compound on 3414 and 3412 Beverly Drive.

What constitutes a luxury family compound? It has been commonplace in New York to expand into floors above, below, or next door to create enough space for grandparents and guests. So, when does a house become a compound? Technically, a compound constitutes multiple houses on a single property. In reality, luxury family compounds can be made up of a single home next door like this one. That is if you can find two lots next to one another.

I wrote about 3414 Beverly a little over a year and a half ago, when builder Robert Elliott finished the home. You can read all the lovely details here. When I went scrolling for today’s Monday Morning Millionaire, I frankly did not recognize the house, until I got to the photo of the courtyard.

Long Cove is hosting a Lake Home Sales Event for Henderson Bay, pictured here, this Saturday, March 31st on Cedar Creek Lake.

It all started with a big idea – to create a luxury lake front community close to Dallas with all the comforts of home, but without all the maintenance. A place where you can unplug, unwind, and enjoy time with your family and friends. That place is Long Cove, the brainchild of Dallas’ own Don McNamara, developer and investor behind Cityplace and West Village in Uptown. Inspired by getaways like those of Seaside, Watercolor, and Horseshoe Bay, the folks at Long Cove bring those memorable experiences closer to home, spanning more than 1,000 acres, and boasting six miles of shoreline at the clear, deep end of Cedar Creek Reservoir – and it just keeps getting better with newly developed Henderson Bay.

Get the whole story on this fantastic new development just a stone’s throw from DFW on SecondShelters.com.

Robert Elliott Custom Homes has launched a brand spanking new real estate brokerage firm called The Associates. And he’s flying out of the gate from the get-go with ten full-time agents for a brand that was born 30 days ago. One of the whiz kids is Brandon Meek.

“I receive north of 15 calls a week on our properties, both spec homes and custom builds,” said Robert.”The lead generation is incredibly strong. People will ask about a $3.5 million home, and then say “oh it’s out of my budget.” I ask them, what’s your budget? Now I can match them with an agent to help them find just what they need.”

The veteran Park Cities and North Texas homebuilder says he has sold 80-plus homes in the Park Cities at an average price of $2 million over the last seven years.

“We have a lot to offer young agents,” says Robert.

The move also comes at an interesting moment in the Dallas brokerage timeline. Brokerage consolidations, he says, are the new trend and are pitting young, eager agents alongside 30 and 40 year selling veterans. Many have reached out to him seeking a more level playing field.

“We are boutique, quick, nimble, creative, assessable,” says Robert. (more…)
