Actress Ruth Buzzi of Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In fame was excited to hear that Southlake was again WalletHub’s choice as of the top 150 Best Small Cities in America.
In WalletHub’s latest rankings, Southlake rose to No. 8, best in North Texas, and an improvement of six spots from 2019. In 2018, Southlake ranked in the top one percent.
The Painted Tree 3,400-home development in McKinney comes at a time of a housing inventory shortage in North Texas and homeowners are staying close to home during the pandemic.
The project is expected to include 366 single-family homes, 400 to 600 new apartment units and 60,000 square feet of commercial space.
Kennedale expects to have a novel housing concept that will start construction in early 2021.
