Inwood Mortgage Home of the Week: Nancy Dedman’s Strait Lane Estate by Bud Oglesby Defines State of Dallas Real Estate in 2014

By Candy Evans / January 9, 2014 /

I was searching high and low for a home that typifies the state of Dallas real estate in 2014, where it is, where it is going. Dallas is growing like gangbusters — our real estate market is one of the strongest in the nation. Only Austin’s, Houston’s may be stronger. Luxury homebuyers are moving closer…

Hearing For Proposed Oak Lawn DHA Development Slated For Feb. 6 as Neighbors Seek Accord With Housing Authority

By Joanna England / January 8, 2014 /

Dallas' Dirty Little Secret: Cold Weather Means Party Time for the Roof Rats, at YOUR HOUSE

By Cassie Evans, J.D. / January 7, 2014 /

This is a guest post by Cassie Evans. We love having her as a guest blogger. She is a busy attorney who practices commercial/business litigation as well as real estate law (yes, she’s brilliant!). She lives in charming Hollywood Heights Santa Monica with her hubby and ever-changing menagerie of rescue and foster pets, some not so welcome. I do know that critter problems exist all over this city, including (shockers) Highland Drive, in Highland park, where one critter catcher once told me he saw the worst infestation of roof rats ever!
