The star, writer and producer Glenn Close was nominated for Best Actress, her co-star Janet McTeer was nominated for Best Supporting Actress (the film was also nominated for Best Makeup). Remember Glenn came to Dallas to seek funding for this film, when she told me she knew it would be the performance of a lifetime.
