StreetLights Residential has broken ground on the third and final phase of its multifamily development in Arlington’s Viridian community — a 2,000-acre master-planned development that’s drawn new residents looking for open green space and easy access to both Dallas and Fort Worth.
The first two phases of the project — The Jackson and The Louise — are now stabilized, as the company stated, and the third will add a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units, along with 68 townhomes. Many of the new homes will offer lake views and direct access to the development’s parks, trails, and outdoor amenities.

According to Arlington City Council agenda documents, the proposed development plan includes four buildings containing 337 dwelling units. It’ll be located south of Blue Lake Boulevard and east of
North Collins Street.

The new phase follows StreetLights’ typical approach of higher-end design and amenity-driven living. Residences will include custom cabinetry, Smart Fabita cooktops, under-cabinet lighting, and detailed entryways. Some units will feature screened-in porches, under-counter beverage centers, and balconies facing Lake Viridian.
Plans call for buildings arranged to maximize views of both a central pool courtyard and the water. Amenities will include a fitness center that opens to a fitness lawn, co-working spaces with private suites, and an event space that connects to outdoor dining and gathering areas. The clubhouse will offer a card lounge, billiards room, and resort-style pool deck with cabanas and daybeds.
StreetLights Creative Studio is handling the architecture and interiors. SLR Construction is the general contractor.
Viridian’s location near DFW Airport continues to make it a draw, with nearby access to Texas Live!, Globe Life Field, and AT&T Stadium. In addition to its Arlington project, StreetLights has other developments across the region, including high-rises in Knox-Henderson, Victory Park, and Deep Ellum.
