Make No Mistake, This Josh Nimmo Home Is a Masterclass in Modern Design

When we imagine modern design, a few features come to mind. Clean lines, open floor plans, and organic materials typically define the conventional standards of the contemporary ethos. However, as architects become more inventive, we’ve seen artisan builds that defy even the most innovative benchmarks. With advances in materials, an evolution of technique, and technological surges, modern design is developing into something beyond expectations.
One of the firms leading this next era is Josh Nimmo’s OBJEKT. Driven to design for the human experience, this firm is dedicated to bringing truly breathtaking projects to life. Recently, one of their most iconic homes hit the market.
This four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 2,360-square-foot showpiece stands out in the Elm Thicket/Northpark neighborhood.
From the exterior, it’s immediately apparent just how much thought is behind this build. A sweeping milled façade with walls of windows invites so much curiosity from the curb.

Then, stepping inside reveals a statement of magical modern design. One of the defining characteristics of this home is its curves. With minimalist motifs, crisp finishes, and a seamless floor plan, this home creates a dynamic environment to explore.

The main entertaining areas are instantly accessible. A sizable living area joins to an elegant formal dining room with absolute ease.

Then, just beyond is a contemporary culinary scene, imagined for the minimalist eye. Here, hidden appliances and a Scandinavian-style island make up a modern chef’s kitchen. Also, all of it looks out onto the decked pool.

The partitioned primary suite is open and inviting. It’s framed in glass, providing another panorama of this beautiful backyard.

Then, the ensuite bathroom is an elevated take on luxury design. With dual vanities, contemporary tilework, and a beautiful wet room, this ensuite escape provides the serenity of an authentic spa escape.

With an expansive floor plan this home provides plenty of flex spaces. The sleek home office is a great example of how this future-forward design incorporates functional spaces to really round out the living experience.

The backyard pool and deck are a perfect way to open this modern home to friends and family. With in-the-round intimacy, this is a haven for hosting backyard barbecues and more.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified the neighborhood. We apologize for the error and have corrected it in this version.
Greenway Parks??? Don’t you mean Elm Thicker/Northpark???
Hi Joe, we always aim to get it right, but this one slipped past us. We’ve made the correction and regret the error.
C’mon. Cool house but the price was a dead giveaway this home is most definitely not in Greenway Parks. And sure enough, it’s west of the Bird Streets almost to Lemmon.
Integrity matters.
**Edited earlier comment for correct direction.
It absolutely does, and we are very sorry for the error. The post has been updated now.
This property is NOT in Greenway Parks. Are you Fox News now repeating false information?
You’re right Grant. I’m afraid we did repeat false information from Realtor.com/Zillow and regret the error. Accuracy matters to us and we’re grateful when readers take the time to point out something we got wrong.
Uh…,that is NOT Greenway Parks or Bluffview for that matter.
John, we appreciate your note and have corrected the neighborhood in the story. Dumb mistake by us, and we’re (I’m) sorry.
