Mowgli, Baloo and the Whole “Jungle Book” Crew Would Love This House

One of my favorite childhood movies was Disney’s The Jungle Book. To live in the jungle with Baloo and Bagheera seemed like a dream. That was until I got older and I realized that I was truly more of a Snow White kind of gal. What I wouldn’t give to have woodland creatures come to clean my house? I have written about this before and yet nothing. The wild bunny that lives in our yard just stares and hops away. It hurts my feelings every time.

As a refresher, Mowgli was raised by wolves for his first 10 years of life. When the man-hating tiger, Shere Khan, made his way back to the side of the jungle where Mowgli was living. Bagheera agrees to escort the Mowgli back to the “man village” so he won’t be killed by Shere Khan.
Along the way they connect with Baloo the Bear who is a really cool cat in his own right and a pack of orangutans led by King Louie, who can sing, dance, you name it. The last we see of Mowgli he is following some hottie to the “man village” and there you go.
Fast forward from that point we last see Mowgli to today. I have the home, the only home, where Mowgli would live. It is New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Sitting on 17.50 acres, Mowgli’s home has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and is 6,254 square feet in size. The going price for the home is $1.45 million. It is worth every penny for dear ol’ Mowgli.

The color design, stones, vines and palm tree for back scratching make this look like the jungles of India from where Mowgil was reared. There’s also some furniture sitting.

I would not recommend rubbing your butt on any of the rocks in this house.
The kitchen is wonderful.

Hey just because you grew up in the jungle it does not mean you will not adapt quickly to creature comforts. That fridge is fabulous. King Louie would love this kitchen.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are great.

The jungle theme continues throughout and it is fabulous.

Now while the beach waterfront is exquisite the pool is even better.

This is the kind of pool that will wipe away any homesickness Mowgli may have for his days in the jungle. If you squint, you can almost see Baloo floating down the stream.

As Baloo would say, “Take me home, Daddy!”
