The Las Colinas Home Tour returns this weekend with five luxury homes that reflect the wide range of architecture and design found throughout the iconic master-planned community. When Las Colinas began planning for the celebration of the master-planned community’s 50th anniversary in 2023, they found there was a great deal of interest in hosting a home tour. With 44 residential communities and almost 7,500 residences, you will find some of North Texas’ more spectacular residences ranging in styles from traditional to contemporary. After taking a year off, organizers are back with an even more exciting tour this year.
Candace Emerson, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Las Colinas Association, gave us some inside information about the tour, where each home has been cleverly named to reflect a special characteristic about the home or its owner.
The Art Enthusiast’s Abode

The Art Enthusiast’s Abode, for instance, is owned by Bill Nardiello, who has an extensive collection of paintings and plasterwork. “Bill was also a key player in the transition of the Four Seasons Golf & Sports Club to The Nelson Golf and Sports Club,” Emerson said. “As the former board chair, he remains a prominent figure and a valuable resource for revisiting the rebranding and evolution of this local institution.”
The All Seasons Resort on 18 and The Hilltop Hangout

Two of the featured homes on the tour, The All Seasons Resort on 18 and The Hilltop Hangout, are in the exclusive Fox Glen neighborhood overlooking the Las Colinas Country Club and golf course. The homeowners have done a beautiful job of updating each home while preserving its character and history.
The Architects Retreat

Also known locally as The Blue House, it is owned by the renowned architect, Yen Ong. Ong is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the Founding Partner of 5G Studio Collaborative.
Yen’s modern Las Colinas home exudes his unique design style,” Emerson said. “One of my favorite features of the home is the creative use of natural lighting.”
The 15th Green Estate

This spectacular Mediterranean estate is in Cottonwood Valley, which is essentially an island oasis in the middle of the Nelson Golf Course. Reminiscent of homes in Coral Gables, Florida, it’s filled with character.
The Las Colinas Home Tour organizers have partnered with select restaurants at the Toyota Music Factory to offer enhancements to Home Tour event attendees. These range from free appetizers to 20% off discounts.
Las Colinas Home Tour tickets are still available and can be purchased online.
