Perched atop one of the highest elevations in Grapevine, in a private compound of only two homes, this modern jewel is a wonder inside and out. Built by David Lewis, of David Lewis Builder, this custom home will be an exceptional find for its next owner. The current owners designed the home with Lewis who custom built it for them. This incredible front entry sets the tone for the beautiful home within. The San Saba stone walls (which you see on the exterior as well as on accents inside) and wood ceiling frame the exquisite glass door for an elegant grand entry — yet it’s also a cozy, comfortable sitting area, with recessed lighting, where you can easily picture lounging and enjoying the view.

“It has luxurious finishes and everything is meticulously done, but at the same time it’s a comfortable environment,” said listing agent Mark Manley of David Griffin & Co Real Estate.
Enter into this stunning foyer with a floor-to-ceiling stone wall that divides it from the living area, but doesn’t close it off completely. Clerestory windows line the soaring walls above the grand glass doors.
The main living area is truly a remarkable design. Clerestory windows and a wall of split sliding glass doors provide natural light and access to the patio and beyond on one side. Note the functional and flawless built-in shelving and bar next to the fireplace. One of the most striking aspects of the room, to me at least, is the way the ceiling mirrors the flooring with white oak. Together with museum-finished walls, the effect is magnificent.

The butler’s pantry/second kitchen: “It’s heaven! It’s a work station, a home office, a bar, extra storage,” Manley said. “You know, the ‘scullery kitchen’ is making a comeback.”
This one has abundant shelving, a second refrigerator, a prep area, a sink, and a wine fridge, along with a desk area.
The home has four bedrooms with four full- and two half-baths. All four bedrooms are on the first floor.
“That’s one of the more unique things about this home. Despite it being a two-story house, it lives like a single story with all the bedrooms down,” said Manley. “It’s a large home, but it doesn’t feel that way, it’s very cozy.”
The primary suite is spacious and serene with large windows framing views of the backyard and pool. The primary bath is beyond luxurious with a freestanding tub, walk-in shower, dual vanity with slick lighting, and statement marble tile flooring. The primary bathroom also has access to a safe room.
