Just in case you’re hot, hum this little tune in your head.
Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
“Let it Snow!”

Someday, not soon enough for some of us, it will be cold again. Maybe it will even snow, and the thought of that makes some of us giddy thinking of cozy fireplaces, hot chocolate and warm sweaters. Until that day comes, we have something that’ll likely cool you down on these hot days.
If you happen to love winter weather and holiday decor, you happen to be house shopping, and you happen to be in a $500,000 price range, this house is for you. The listing photos for the house at 2721 Forest Park Blvd. show this cute house with snow on the roof and holiday décor! A stand out for sure.

Yes, in addition to a snowy roof, the staircase inside this 1939 colonial looks lovely bedecked with garland and ribbon. Anyone buying this house could have decorating decisions made way ahead of the Christmas rush with these photos as guides. The home’s curb appeal gives Hallmark Christmas movie vibes, too. The red brick, black shutters and white screen door are punctuated by the lovely wreath on the door. It all just screams Christmas tradition, doesn’t it?
The 1,816-square-foot house is located in the Frisco Heights neighborhood, a beautiful older area of Fort Worth. This section of tree-lined Forest Park Boulevard stretches south of I-30 and meanders near Texas Christian University, the Fort Worth Zoo, Colonial Country Club and Paschal High School.

Built in 1939, the four-bedroom, two-bath house even comes with a holiday necessity. The living room’s cozy gas fireplace would be a great place to hang stockings or set up a Christmas tree, while we’re thinking of December. Then for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, the home’s designated dining room would be a great spot to share turkey.

The house is on the market in the hot month of August, which is fortunate for those who like to get a jump on the holidays. Buying it now could mean lots of time to figure out where the twinkle lights should go, what color ribbon would look best on the banister and if the Christmas tree should go in front of the living room’s French doors.
