(Over the last six weeks, she led seven virtual classes with an audience of 1,400-plus agents, created 11 individual educational videos, and conducted 27 office visits).

“What I tell agents when they inevitably ask about the future,” Gill says, “is ‘you are full-service Realtors at a full-service brokerage firm and we are going to all be fine and continue to grow our businesses.”

Not only is she helping them process the changes, but she personally participated in the process of updating all Texas Realtor forms and is coming to these classes and sessions with first-hand knowledge.

“It was very interesting to work hand-in-hand with the four Texas Realtor attorneys and see how much they care about the agents in Texas,” Gill said. “They looked at every single document for three-plus months, adding to and refining them to protect our agents and make sure they were able to get compensated while staying compliant with the settlement agreement. It was also fascinating to meet other brokers from around the state and hear how they do business in their areas. I feel very lucky to have been there live and in person to hear why and what we were doing with each document to protect our agents.”
