Realtor Kara Bang is teaching an introductory workshop in Feng Shui for real estate professionals May 22.

Have you ever been inside a home and it just feels … off? It’s a hard feeling to describe, but it could be that the movement of energy inside the home could use some balancing. That’s where Feng Shui comes in, says Realtor Kara Bang.

Bang, who is presenting a luncheon workshop on May 22, says that anyone can benefit from her lifelong experience with the practice.

“My class is informative for real estate agents,” Bang told CandysDirt.com. “They can apply what they learn and have better energy in their listings.”

Bringing Harmony to Listings

The workshop, which is hosted by the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors in partnership with the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America and the Women’s Council of Realtors, focuses on how Feng Shui can enhance the energy flow in listings and help Realtors enhance the value and feel in their homes.

Bang has seen the results from following the practice and respecting the flow of energy throughout a home, and it works for clients and Realtors in unexpected ways.

“I apply Feng Shui to all my listings and advise my clients to re-arrange or remove the items when listing. I also advise them on their new homes as well,” she said. “The majority of my clients are into applying Feng Shui and some tell me they are much more comfortable in the house afterward.”

Feng Shui For Realtors

While it may seem complex, Bang has prepared some very simple and accessible tips for attendees to improve the energy balance in their properties. Her workshop is an immersive but practical look at the practice and will offer real-life lessons on how it can improve a home.

“When we showcase listings, it is important for buyers or their agents to feel a good flow of energy when they walk in the house for a showing,” Bang said. “First impressions make up 50 percent of their decision-making on whether to purchase a property. A good flow of good energy is the key point of Feng Shui.”

The free workshop, which is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, will include lunch from Yo!Bowl will be hosted at the GFWAR headquarters.
