In 1958, Mr. Luther — yes, I know his first name, but on the Ridglea Greenway Condominium’s homepage, it simply refers to him as Mr. Luther, and let’s get real, how much cooler and covert does that sound? 1 million percent, right? As I was saying, in 1958 Mr. Luther built Ridglea Greenway Condominiums. He drew inspiration from the Spanish Revival buildings on the east and west and created a Spanish Revival oasis right in the middle of the city.

Of course, inspiration came easily since Mr. Luther designed the other two Spanish Revival buildings as well.

Rare Ridglea Greenway Condominiums

Since 1958, Ridglea Greenway Condominiums have seen owners come and not very often, go. That’s why just the fact that these two condos are on the market is pretty much headline news. Since owners rarely leave, Ridglea Greenway is shrouded in mystery. Well, not shrouded in mystery, but people are very, very curious about what it looks like inside.

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty’s Ashley Mooring said the neighborhood response was overwhelming at an open house she recently co-hosted with Williams Trew’s Piper Pardue.

Pardue has the other unit in the community listed. Now, I said owners don’t typically leave Ridglea Greenway, but one famous owner did — Ben Hogan. AND his unit is the one that Pardue has listed.

West Fort Worth is Where It’s at

Mooring said her favorite thing about the condo is the location. Pardue is a big fan, too. Mooring loves that you get the Ridglea neighborhood with low-maintenance living. It’s perfect for anyone looking to downsize and have a lock-and-leave second home in the city. Mooring’s other favorite feature? THE BALCONY. It’s huge and it exclusively belongs to Unit 7. And it is HUGE.

Pardue said because of the stellar location, all the Camp Bowie shops and restaurants are super close to Ridglea Greenway Condominiums, as well as three country clubs – Ridglea, Shady Oaks, and Rivercrest. (There’s a reason Hogan wanted to call it home.) Dickies Arena and Will Rodgers Coliseum are close, too, as in less than a 10-minute drive.

History, location, shops, restaurants, and balconies. What more could you want? A pool? No sweat. Ridglea Greenway has one of those, too.

Mooring has 6205 Greenway Road, Unit 7 listed for $700,000. Pardue has 6215 Greenway Road, Unit 10 listed for $750,000.
