Medical District

You know what’s bonkers? Finding a really cute condo in Dallas’ Medical District for under $250,000 that’s been completely updated really, really well.

Even better when it’s in a great location and is being sold fully furnished. Yes, fully furnished! Including the dishes! But minus the art. There’s a limit, people.

A Medical District Condo That’s All That And a Bertazzoni

What’s the deal here? Well, the owner didn’t think she was going anywhere so she set out to update in 2019 and went all-in. We’re talking solid white oak hardwoods throughout, marble floors in the bathrooms, and a dang Bertazzoni induction range in the kitchen.

Now it’s time for her to move on (in a good way!) and she’s leaving behind her incredible updates, exceptional taste, and that freaking amazing sofa that — peek behind the curtains — I know was just delivered last week.

Build Your Rental Empire

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty’s Emily Thompson said the HOA doesn’t allow short-term rentals, BUT — and this is HUGE — they do allow 30 days or more. Midterm rentals. Is that a phrase? Sounds like a test. The point is, if you’re looking for a reasonably priced entry into the landlord game, this might be the one. Given its location, it’s the perfect spot to rent to traveling nurses and healthcare professionals.

On the flip, it’s also the perfect place for a freshly winged pilot or flight attendant since it’s A) affordable and B) 10 measly minutes from Love Field. This condo is like a flippin’ Ginsu knife — it kind of does it all.

All Updated, No Muss No Fuss

On top of everything else, it’s so pretty. This Medical District condo features crisp and clean updates with no muss and minimal fuss. Also, no expense was spared (see aforementioned Bertazzoni). The kitchen and living room are open-concept and have gorgeous custom cabinets.

In one bedroom, you’ll find my absolute favorite feature — the built-in closet. Since the condo is an efficient 971 square feet, the paneled closet is an exceptional use of the space. While I have you here, I might as well point out the HVAC is only three years old as well. I know, right? In addition to being the living equivalent of a Ginsu knife, it’s also kind of a unicorn.

Gated access, Whole Foods right up the road, super close to restaurants and bars (though Thompson calls it “nightlife”), this one is almost too good to be true. All appliances stay with the condo as well, and that shiny new set of induction cookware.

Thompson has 5305 Fleetwood Oaks Avenue, #273 listed for $230,000.
