Rancho Ladera Home is Spacious in All The Right Places

This 5,100-square-foot, single-story home on 2.5 acres is definitely spacious.

Sometimes homes are just large for the sake of being large. And as much as price per square foot isn’t used in the overall value of a home, many still fall into the trap of, “What’s the price per square foot?” and think that will tell them anything.

Sometimes a builder will start building and never stop. Architects are not necessarily looking at homes like a builder — make it as affordable for as many buyers as possible, and will just design a home as big as possible.

The back of 2040 Rancho Ladera Road is spacious with a purpose.

Many homes that are so gigantic don’t need to be that large to be elegant and stylish. Don’t you hate when you see a home with a bunch of “dead space” or just wasted spaces because no one is thinking about the overall design and flow during construction? That drives me crazy.

However, there are plenty of instances where a home is quite large, but in all the right places.

Why do people buy homes?

We are going to have a refresher course for the millions and millions of newer Tarrant County Tuesday fans who maybe haven’t been with us since the beginning.

White Oak, quarter-sawn, wide-plank wood floors are the epitome of elegance.

It’s not rocket science, but you’d be surprised at how many buyers and sellers don’t even consider a basic question regarding home selling and buying: “Why do people buy homes?”

People buy homes because of the floors, kitchen, and primary suite. Yes, there are times when some buyers need a pool or a six-car garage or a giant random room, but for the majority of buyers out there, the items that will make them say, “Yes, that’s my home!” are going be floors, kitchens, and primary suites.

Do you want spacious? How about the world’s largest kitchen island — we are waiting to hear back from the Guinness Book of World Records to confirm.

Located in Aledo Ranch South, the 5,100-square-foot home at 2040 Rancho Ladera is a spacious newly built home that has all that you would want and more. Floors? Yes! Kitchen? Yes! Primary suite? Yes! And the list of the goodies found in this new home goes on and on.

Beautifully placed on 2.5 acres in Aledo, this home of five bedrooms and four-and-one-half bathrooms features a large patio with a full kitchen to enjoy sunsets and cooling breezes.

The outdoor kitchen features a lot of things

The Kitchens of 2040 Rancho Ladera

Here is what the outdoor kitchen features: an outdoor Isokern fireplace, a Big Green Egg, a Coyote outdoor refrigerator, a griddle, grill, sink, trash, and storage. If that’s not a spacious outdoor kitchen then I don’t know what is.

Likewise, the kitchen inside the home is pretty amazing. You’ve already seen a photo of the World’s Largest Kitchen Island (again, waiting on confirmation), but the rest of the kitchen is also impressive.

This is a true chef’s kitchen…when’s dinner?

Exquisite in-lay custom cabinets to the ceiling, waterfalling marble on the side of the island, solid marble backsplash, Sub-Zero built-in refrigerator, and a very sexy Wolf double-oven gas range all go into the kitchen of 2040 Rancho Ladera Road, making a true chef’s kitchen.

The beautiful flooring and spacious windows continue into the primary bedroom

The Primary Suite

Now comes what you really wanted to see — the unbelievable primary suite. The hardwood flooring continues throughout the home and into the bedroom. The bathroom is a true spa retreat with fancy selections and fixtures, and then there is the primary closet.

When you can’t reach the top shelf of your shoe collection, youneed a built-in ladder in your closet.

I’ll stop talking and let the photos tell the story.

Spacious Without Being Too Much

I could go on and on about the secondary bedrooms and bathrooms, the game room, mud room, spacious utility, and garage area, but who are we kidding — floors, kitchens, and primary suites.
