A Craftsman-Style Home in Weatherford That’s Ready For Your Finishing Touches

Downtown Weatherford is the “crown jewel of Parker County,” and it’s been that way since 1866. It very recently went through a revival with a whole committee and grants and funds and positions all dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Weatherford.

Upgrading retail exteriors, encouraging new merchants, and adding events like Weatherford Wine & Whiskey Walks and Sunset on the Square. It couldn’t even get more charming if it tried.

Parker County was also named by the Texas Legislature as the “Peach Capital of Texas.” One more fact that makes you wonder, “Did she just Google downtown Weatherford?” Parker County is the ninth fastest growing county in the United States. According to whom? DWInc. (Downtown Weatherford Inc.)

There is public transportation system called Wally the Trolley, but with this cute little house, you won’t even need it. You can walk to the square.

Now here’s a date that might surprise you: this Craftsman-style home was built in 1968. There was also an addition that includes a huge space on the back half of the house. (It consists of one large room, two bedrooms, and one bathroom, so yes, BIG.)

Coldwell Banker Apex’s Michele Bender said it’s really a story and a half as there’s an upstairs great room that’s finished out.

The most notable thing about the house is it’s roomy. Like seriously. It lives large at 2,340 square feet with four bedrooms, two living areas, and two full bathrooms.

The kitchen has been updated and if you like that single-row backsplash, don’t worry, there’s more. Additional tile, a vent hood, and a garbage disposal are all onsite and come with the house. (They just need to be installed.) There’s even carpet in the back room.

So, yes there are things to do, but with such an incredible location and are you freaking kidding me with that price, the potential is there to make it totally your own.

One final thing Bender added about this house — It feels like a home. From the minute you step inside it’s filled with cozy, good vibes and tons of charm. And it’s across the street from Cherry Park. Like views right out your front window.

Bender has 306 Davis Street in the Historic District in Weatherford listed for $350,000.
