With Father’s Day coming this weekend, it’s time to rev up your engine. Yeah, we know: dad has everything. Well, here is something he probably DOESN’T have.

Thanks to Dallas real estate agent Francisco Rizo, we’ve found the perfect gift for serious car enthusiasts: a “car condo” to house his beloved high-end vehicles, located at the exclusive Circuit of the Americas (COTA) motorsports race track in Austin.

Curious? We were. Exactly why CandysDirt.com invited Rizo to introduce the innovative concept to Dallas at Skibell Fine Jewelry’s Father’s Day event this Friday, June 16. Plan to stop by the Preston Center shop from 3 to 5 p.m. to learn more about this year’s ultimate luxury gift for Dad.

“There’s never been anything like it,” said Rizzo.

“Located at Austin’s famous Turn 11 at Circuit of the Americas, each T-11 car condo features ground floor garage space along with a stylish mezzanine living area.” Not really a garage, it’s more like a house for your most prized possessions. Your cars live with you so you never, ever have to leave them in a dusty garage.”

The Circuit of the Americas track is located on the southeastern outskirts of Austin.

Units hold up to 24 vehicles. (COTA)
Choose one of five available sizes.

Units range from 1,500 to 6,600 square feet, including the car condominium. The smallest accommodates up to 6 cars; the largest, up to 24. Phase one, currently under construction, is slated for completion by year-end.

Twenty units are already sold.

“Our clients are the one percent; car enthusiasts who want a place to not only store their cars, but drive and enjoy them,” said Rizzo.

Amenities abound. For starters, the racetrack itself. Purposely built with Formula 1 racing in mind, Red Bull Racing reserve driver Daniel Ricciardo called it “the best of the new breed of circuits.” The United States Grand Prix 2023 will be returning to Austin for this year’s race, October 19-21.

Among the designs: Classic Americana.

Choose from a choice of custom build-outs — think Classic Americana, Refined Industrial, and Texas Modern. Interior packages include Thermador or Gaggenau appliances.

Condo owners will also get two weekends of dedicated track time plus access to the F1 track and private race viewing deck. Premier on-site facilities — pool, clubhouse, outdoor lounge, meeting rooms, and EV charging station — round out the experience. Every creature comfort is designed around the cars.

Amenities include a pool and clubhouse.

“It’s like a little city,” said Rizzo. “In addition to car racing, there’s an amusement park, sports field, and concert venue.”

Be prepared to buckle up and take your wallet. Car condo prices range from $500,000 to $2.5 million.

Say dad is more of a watch guy than a car guy.

No problem. A pre-owned timepiece is a splurge-worthy gift the special men in your life will actually use.

Pre-owned timepieces offer value and style.

“This week, we’re bringing in an exclusive selection of watches for Father’s Day gift giving,” said Skibell Fine Jewelry owner Lyn Skibell. “Not only do we do the legwork for you—when you buy from Skibell you can feel confident you’re making a great investment.”

The store is also featuring artisan jewelry from designer Samuel B. Each piece is meticulously piece is handcrafted in Bali using ancient techniques.
