These Rowlett Residences Are Perfect For Those Who Love Lakeside Living

Share News:

Rowlett is perhaps one of the smallest Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs. In terms of square mileage, it’s pretty compact, nestled neatly on the banks of Lake Ray Hubbard. However, this vibrant community has a ton of attractions. From Sapphire Bay Marina to the state-of-the-art Rowlett Community Centre, residents are literally swimming in recreation options. Also, with its own DART station and the President George Bush Turnpike, this area offers easy access to all that DFW has to offer.

For this edition of Suburb Sunday, I’m stoked to show you around this unique community and give you a glimpse of three fantastic properties. Let’s dive in.

A Lakeside Rowlett Residence

6010 Arden Court

  • Four Bedrooms, Three Bathrooms
  • 2,766 Square Feet
  • $549,000

The first home this week is right off the banks of Lake Ray Hubbard. Rowlett residents love all things nature, so to have such a convenient location with access an array of outdoor attractions is a huge win.

“This home features a lot to love,” said listing agent Kimberly Woodul with Ebby Halliday. “It’s a very well-maintained property and is perfect for families of any size. It’s actually zoned for Rockwall ISD schools, which are marvelous. Being on a quiet cul-de-sac just steps from the lake is a rarity you could only find in a place like Rowlett.”

Of course, the house features some great amenities of its own.

“I just love the pool and hot tub,” said Kimberly. “The whole backyard is meticulously manicured and is just a great escape within an escape.”

A Custom Home in a Close Community

3422 Mallard Park

  • Four Bedrooms, Three Bathrooms
  • 2,915 Square Feet
  • $725,000

If you’re looking for a small, close-knit community, it doesn’t get much more charming than Mallard Cove. Our next property is one of just a handful of homes that exist in this established neighborhood.

“Mallard Cove is a really unique place to live,” said listing agent Jim Edwards with RE/MAX Dallas Suburbs. “It’s super small and there’s no HOA, which is great in a community like this. Most residents do not want to leave and have not left the area since buying their homes. Therefore, when a home comes on the market here, it’s a great opportunity.”

As for the home itself, it features some of the best views in Rowlett.

“I think what I love most about this home are the incredible views,” said Jim. “It’s right on the water and you can see nearly the whole lake from the second floor and the primary downstairs. Also, this home is a custom build, so it’s really unique inside and out.”

An Enormous Home With Excellent Amenities

2709 Harborview Boulevard

  • Five Bedrooms, Four Bathrooms
  • 4,048 square feet
  • $649,999

Last but not least, I have a perfect family home at a price you cannot beat.

“At over four thousand square feet, the price is unheard of for this type of home,” said listing agent Matt Anderson with Mathew Anderson. “It’s great for a large family and features some nice amenities and highlights like the huge upstairs media room, a beautiful backyard, and an excellent location.”

Like many Rowlett homes, this one is right by the water. It also has access to some of the area’s best schools. It pretty much has anything you’d want in a family home.

It’s a really established neighborhood with great people,” said Matt. “As far as the location, size, and price, it’s difficult to do much better than this.”
