Share News:

With all 366 polling places reporting, Mayor Eric Johnson and all eligible Dallas City Council incumbents are returning to the horseshoe.

A runoff election will be held June 10 to decide the District 3 council member who will replace term-limited Casey Thomas. Zarin Gracey has been endorsed by Thomas and earned 46.22 percent of the vote, just shy of the 50 percent required to avoid a runoff. He’ll face Joe Tave, who earned 25.76 percent of the vote in a race with five candidates, next month.
