First Look: Peek Inside High Hill Development’s Stunning New Home This Week

Things are heating up at High Hill Development in East Texas as the Danuser Rado Group readies for two exclusive on-site events this week — a broker and agent tour on Wednesday and a public open house on Saturday.

The public is invited to see High Hill’s new showcase, 23782 Lex Lane in Arp — a luxurious five-bedroom, five-bath home with 3,354 square feet. The home comes fully furnished by interior designer Yvette Leihgeber and is listed for $1.3 million.

High Hill Development is the phase 2 addition of High Hill Farm, a destination resort owned and developed in 2015 by Dallasites Jason and Sharon Romano. The Romanos were inspired by their favorite Florida “30A” communities of Seaside and Alys Beach — unique, master-planned resort towns known for their walkable, slower-paced vacation experience. They sought to bring these resort features to an idyllic 175-acre parcel in Arp, Texas — just two hours from Dallas.

From the listing:

This stunning home features 5 large bedrooms, a primary on 1st floor, a detached guest cottage, and office facing the lake. Stained concrete floors, quartz kitchen island counter, private pool with water feature, large mudroom, and a detached 2-car garage with storage closet are just a few of the highlights. This home comes fully furnished. These homes can be rented out. This home sits on lot 29.

The public is invited to an open house slated for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at 23782 Lex Lane in Arp, Texas.

Guests may take a tour of High Hill Farm and the new phase, High Hill Development. High Hill Farm features a 4-acre spring-fed lake with a white sand beach, a beach bar, a live music amphitheater, vineyard, and a gourmet restaurant, Cote. Coming soon will be a Top Golf, pickleball, a resort-style pool, a chapel, and 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.

High Hill Farm and Development is located where the East Texas Piney Woods meets the Post Oak Belt of the Gulf Coastal Plains.

In addition, real estate agents will have a special opportunity to tour the exclusive boutique development, be treated to a chef’s lunch, and earn continuing education (CE) credit toward their real estate license. The Danuser Rado Group and LegacyTexas Title are hosting an agent and broker event from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wed., Jan. 25 in Arp.

“When we set out to create High Hill, we wanted to create a space for people who are familiar with the 30A area yet want a quick escape. Something that doesn’t require getting on a plane,” Jason Romano says.

With 28 years of home-building experience, developer and owner Jason Romano brings excellence and quality to this community of second homes. Recently, Romano sat down with us to share his architectural and design vision for the Mediterranean coastal homes at High Hill Development.

Instead of bright colors often associated with beachfront property, all homes here are painted with plaster whites, which truly pop against the gorgeous green landscape. The luxurious seaside-inspired cottages will come fully furnished and can be rented out as an income opportunity.

Second Home Investment Opportunity

Just last month, CandysDirt.com told you about the unique rental program at High Hill Development that offers rental management assistance to homeowners who own a second home here. The High Hill Management team handles all aspects of the investment property — from designing, furnishing, marketing, and managing rentals, as well as maintaining the upkeep of the homes.

The event is presented by the Danuser Rado Group of Compass Real Estate Texas. To RSVP or find out more about High Hill, contact Lauren Haley at 713-376-9693 or email [email protected].

The home at 23782 Lex Lane in Arp is listed by Lauren Haley of Compass RE Texas for $1.3 million.
