Dallas dominates the most expensive single-family home listings in Texas for December. 

Eight D-FW dwellings are on this month’s list, released Wednesday by the Houston Association of Realtors

The local homes include: 

  • 1469 Sunshine Lane, Southlake, $19.9 million
  • 3808 Potomac Ave., Highland Park, $18.9 million
  • 9250 Meadowbrook Drive, Dallas, $15.85 million
  • 1001 South Highway 377, Pilot Point, $15 million
  • 4646 Cherokee Trail, Dallas, $11.9 million
  • 1718 East Jeter Road, Bartonville, $10 million
  • 3521 Princeton Ave., Highland Park, $8.5 million 
  • 10032 County Road 17, Celina, $8 million

The No. 1 most expensive listing in Texas is a $35 million castle in Austin. Coming in at No. 6 is a $13.9 million stunner in Fredericksburg. The rest of the list belongs to the Big D.

    They’re right. It’s one of the newest representations of ostentatious, presumably nouveau riche home in 75205. And proof money can buy real estate but does not buy class.
