So I was visiting with a friend the other day and she asked if I knew what I was going to be writing about this week. I said I did and I pulled out my phone to show her the house.

After flipping through some of the pictures she said, “It’s quite Baroque.”

“Baroque? You don’t know what Baroque is,” was my retort.

“I do so. I’ll use it in a sentence. This house is very Baroque.” We laughed and laughed and laughed. We may have been drinking. Who can remember such details?

Now, the palace of Versailles is a perfect example of beautiful Baroque architecture. The house featured in this week’s column is no palace of Versailles. It is what people think Baroque architecture is when they are having drinks with friends. Come on, let us check out this house.

Sitting on more than half an acre, this home has four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. It is located at 7 Windsong Court, Pikesville, Maryland, and is a little more than 4,000 square feet. The owners are asking $785K.

Consider this a warm-up for your eyes.

The kitchen is absolutely terrifying.

Hand to God, if there were wheels on this stove I would think it would run me over. This is the fiercest stove I have ever seen.

We are going to move right along to the dining room.

Do you think the palace of Versailles has the same flower wallpaper on its ceilings?

I love the mirrors in the room. In case you did not get enough of the flowered wallpaper here is a mirror so you can see it double.

The bathrooms are something else.

If you just love Wonder Bread, like you simply cannot get enough, then this next bathroom is for you.

If a killer clown does not pop out of the shower I will be terribly disappointed.

Okay, now you need to steady yourself for the primary bathroom.

Wait, wait. There is one more.

Regarding stoves and wheels, the French La Cornue Chateau series range in this home is priced considerably above a 2023 BMW 3 or Mercedes C class automobile. And similar to the vehicles, the range requires frequent maintenance.

Was going to say something similar about the stove. So weird for it to be in that house.
