Now That Halloween is Over, This Gingerbread House is The Perfect Getaway For Witches

Whew, what a Halloween. The decorating, the costume making, the baking — they all take a toll. Ask any witch. Halloween is their peak season.

Oftentimes witches get a bad rap. The Celts saw the really smart and wise women as healers and would go to them for counsel. When the Romans took over they converted the Celts and started changing how these women were viewed. It was under the Roman influence that these women began to be seen as devil-worshiping hags for being smart. What a freaking surprise. Bring down the patriarchy!

I digress.

With holidays starting earlier each year, Halloween turns into a marathon for witches. Treats to lure little kids into their ovens do not bake themselves, you know.

After all that work, sometimes witches just need to chill, get away from it all, and relax so they can get in touch with themselves. Ladies, you know what I mean. Sometimes we need girl time.

Well let me tell you, I have found the perfect spot for witches to hang their hats and let their hair down.

The Perfect House For Baking Children

This gingerbread house is perfect. It is out in the woods away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This three-bedroom, two-bath house is located at 780 Shermantown Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The 1,300-square-foot home sits on almost 4 acres. The witches do not have to worry about any solicitors knocking on their door. The owners are asking $500K.

The woodworking in the house is sensational. The only thing that is missing is a pole so the witches can stay in shape during their downtime.

One of the other really neat details about this gingerbread house is its “wooden telephone booth elevator.”

How neat is that?

Now what is super nice are the additional buildings on the property so there is plenty of room for them to store their excess brooms and cauldrons.

There is truly enough space so all the girls can come over and partake in the mimosas.

The pièce de résistance is the bathroom.

Do not let the black garb and moles fool you, witches like girly things. What is more girly than a heart-shaped tub? No way the ladies are not getting in touch with their inner little witch.

Here is hoping everyone had a great Halloween. As we all barrel into Thanksgiving, it is nice to know witches have a place to call their own and get ready for next year.
