Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, who gained reality TV fame as former stars of ABC’s 17th season of The Bachelor, are successful house-flippers.

The couple sold their University Park home for $5 million on June 27. They bought it for $4,096,400 in April. In May, they listed it for $5 million.

In late June, they found a buyer, according to North Texas Real Estate Information Services.

Why should we care? The couple has been open about their lives on social media, primarily Instagram, since they married in 2014. Lowe is an insurance salesman from Dallas. He grew up in Irving and played football at Irving High School and Lamar High in Arlington before going on to play college football at Kansas State University.

He moved back to Dallas and began selling insurance while pursuing fitness modeling on the side. He appeared on the eighth season of The Bachelorette (2003) and made it to the top three before being sent home. He rebounded on The Bachelor, where he met Giudici.

They made news when they decided to sell their five-bedroom, 6,068-square-foot house in the Fairway section of University Park. The home was listed by Rogers Healy of Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate, which recently completed sales to NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and NFL running back Derrick Henry.

“What makes this home so unique is its availability in one of the hottest neighborhoods in the country. It features top-of-the-line appliances and has a nice pool. But, the real beauty is the location and that the home has been modernized,” Healy told Realtor.com.

Healy didn’t disclose who the buyer is, but he believes the house will be a primary residence for the next homeowner with young children.

“This neighborhood is walking distance to lots of parks and great restaurants,” Healy told Realtor.com. “The location is really a 10 out of 10. It’s located in what is known as the Park Cities neighborhood, and people call it ‘The Bubble.’ It is just an ideal home for a family.”
