This Mid-Century On Cinderella Lane Is Pure Magic

We all know the Disney Streets. Lined with mid-century moderns and some other stuff, too. It’s the home to homes that make your eyes sparkle and your jaw drop. The latest listing from David Griffin’s Brandon Stewart is no exception. If you don’t know Stewart, take a deep dive here. He’s a musician, architect, and mid-century modern dreamweaver.

He found this house for his clients years ago. He scoured the MLS and some of his other sources and it appeared. Almost like magic. Because that’s what it is and that’s what Stewart does. He said the couple was looking for a true mid-century modern. Not a ranch-style house. And they insisted on a pool. Where other clients give up, these two persevered and it paid off. They hit the freaking jackpot on Cinderella and now it’s someone else’s turn.

Stewart has high standards when it comes to homes (hello, architect) and this single story has his complete and total seal of approval. He said there’s not an inch in this home that’s untouched, but the updates are appropriate and exceptionally tasteful.

At some point, the footprint of the house was modified. Stewart said the open kitchen and generous primary closet were the two biggest giveaways. A kitchen that opens to the living area is something we do today, not necessarily what we did back in the day. And the kitchen has a sixteen-foot island. It’s massive and perfect for entertaining. We all wind up in the kitchen anyway, right? As for the closet? It’s everything you and your wardrobe are looking for. Stewart said it runs the length of the Primary bathroom. That’s a major walk-in and it’s all lined with Elfa shelving.

The flooring is spectacular, too. It’s a mix of tile, slate, which you see a lot in updated mid-century homes, and gorgeous rosewood which you don’t see a ton of but dang, wouldn’t we all like to see more?

The backyard is a stunner and the lot is over one-third of an acre. Two things you might miss that Stewart pointed out – the metal gate on the side of the home is custom, the garage has a glass door and there’s an office out there, too. Amazing details for a truly amazing house. If you’d like to take a look, stop by the Open House from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3.

Stewart has 10832 Cinderella Lane listed for $839,000.
