The ice is melting, the birds are chirping, and the landscape is turning green. Spring is almost here and we’re looking forward to the March tradition that is the Fort Worth Magazine Dream Street 2022. The event will take place from March 5 to March 27 in the neighborhood of Montrachet.

Fort Worth’s Newest Gated Community

Located off Loop 820 and Team Ranch Road in southwest Fort Worth just past the Montserrat neighborhood is Montrachet, a 254-acre neighborhood that will have 169 homes when completed. Homesites in the 24-hour manned enclave range from .25 to 7 acres at prices from $230,000 to $2 million.

This Dream Home certainly doesn’t lack for windows, openness, and stunning vistas.

Part of the development includes a 75-year-old pecan orchard, over 50 acres dedicated to open parks and green space, and miles of hiking and biking trails.

In an effort to bring attention to this new development, three custom-designed and built homes have been constructed and will soon be open to the public. Tickets to the Dream Street 2022 are $20, which includes a $10 donation to a Wish with Wings of Fort Worth, an organization that grants wishes to children fighting life-threatening medical conditions.

The fireplace in the living room was designed by Susan Semmelmann Interiors.

Martha Williams of Williams Trew Real Estate is representing one Dream Home at 4624 Esprit Avenue. The stone single-story home was designed by Heritage Design Studio and built by Heritage Homes. The interior design of the 5,914-square-foot home with four bedrooms and five-and-one-half bathrooms was done by Susan Semmelmann Interiors.

The glass wall in the dining room is actually a sliding window to open to the pool on spring days.

Unique And Inspiring Materials

The home is filled with all sorts of ideas and designs that hopefully will encourage and inspire visitors during the three-week event. With a desire to showcase items and materials that fit with the overall Texas Regional Vernacular style of the home, there are a few must-see features.

Instead of upper cabinets by the range, notice the awesome windows.

The vent hood above the double-oven gas range is a unique creation of copper and stainless steel stacking like tiers of a wedding cake to create a contemporary look. The mix of metals ties back in the stainless steel fixtures and accents.

For $4 million you can afford to have someone squeegee the shower regularly.

Of course, the primary suite and bathroom is always a popular attraction with the Dream Home. This year is no exception. The shower is an absolute show stopper in this home. White marble and glass accents adorn the floor, walls, and ceiling of the pass-through shower with multiple rain heads and translucent windows. Don’t worry about water spots on the floor-to-ceiling wall of glass in the shower — with a list price of $3.95 million, you can afford someone to keep the shower water spot free.

The pool and spa are prominent features within the courtyard.

Certainly, every home of this magnitude isn’t complete without a stunning pool and spa, and this home has one as well. Situated within the courtyard of the home, the pool and spa are surrounded by an outdoor kitchen and detached cabana where a family room, bedroom, and office are found.

Don’t miss your chance to tour the Dream Street of Homes 2022 starting March 5. Where else can you see three amazing and inspiring homes in Montrachet and support a fantastic local organization that helps sick children?
