There are many reasons Juli Black, who recently joined luxury leader Allie Beth Allman & Associates, ranks in the top 1 percent of Dallas-area Realtors.

The native Texan is persistent and strategic, skills she developed early in her career with Fortune 100 media companies and that have made her a consummate negotiator.

As important an investment as a home is, she is equally focused on the emotional side of homeownership. “People make memories in their homes,” Black said. “It is special to be part of it.”

She employs innovative technology, investing in “touchless” digital systems on her own website that proved invaluable to her clients during the pandemic. “Wherever a client lives and no matter how busy their schedule, we have tools that can help ease the process and make it enjoyable and convenient,” she said.

She chose to join Allman as a senior vice president because “Allie Beth has a winning formula. She dominates the local luxury market. What Berkshire Hathaway saw in the Allman firm, I saw too.”

Black brought her team to Allie Beth Allman & Associates specifically because of the firm’s culture of collaboration. “I know the value of collaboration,” she said. “Allman’s formula is that we go further – together.”

Having worked in Fortune 100 corporations after graduating from Texas State University, she also appreciates how well run the Allman firm is. For the brokerage to approach $4 billion in sales, she said, “is remarkable.”

Like Allman herself, Black invests in the community and attributes that as part of her success in the luxury real estate market. She served for years on the board of the Preston Hollow East Homeowners Association and has worked to improve relations between Dallas police and the community as a neighborhood leader on the department’s Community Advisory Board.

“I truly love Dallas, and that makes my job easier,” Black said. “I love our vibrant arts scene, the city parks and following local sports – especially the Cowboys!”

Black is competitive herself and participates in professional poker events. Both poker and residential sales, she says, require mastery of game theory and strategy.

As a Realtor, she is a Guild Level member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and is a Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. She has been named year after year a top producer by D Magazine.

Black, who spent her early career in television with NBC Universal and TiVo Inc., blends highly effective technical systems with a personal touch. Together with the expertise of a Southern Methodist University alum on her team, she offers staging and styling for all her listings as well as a thoughtful approach to blending digital and print media to best serve her clients.
