Village Homes Has Move-in Ready Houses in a Place You Don’t Want to Overlook

The model home and move-in ready homes are in Overlook

In the 18 years that I have been in the home building and real estate business, I don’t think I’ve seen as many frustrated buyers. It seems as if no one is happy these days. Buyers can’t find the home they’re looking for. They don’t want to get in bidding wars and certainly don’t want to get their hopes up on a property only to lose to a cash offer.

Recent reports that interest rates will climb in 2022 (still below pre-COVID so let’s not freak out, people) also creates anxiety and trepidation in buyers. Prices are at an all-time high, inventory is at an all-time low. Something’s got to give.

Open floor plans and trendy finishes are found at Overlook by Village Homes.

All is not lost. Don’t give up hope. Don’t throw in the towel. While it might take a little longer to find the right home there are options out there for buyers that will make them very happy. They just need to know where to look.

One place to definitely consider buying is the newest neighborhood by local Fort Worth builder Village Homes called Overlook. If this neighborhood sounds familiar, Tarrant County Tuesday wrote a preview article about Overlook almost a year ago.

Back then the property was just coming online. Combine COVID, supply chain issues, Snowpocalypse, and the typical bureaucracy that comes with permits, planning, inspections, and city government, and finally, Village Homes has completed or nearly completed move-in-ready homes starting in the low $300s.

Townhomes will be a part of Overlook with units starting in the low $300s.

Did I just say “low $300s”? You bet I did! Time to be amazed and glad you read Tarrant County Tuesday on a regular basis to learn about this wonderful opportunity.

Just eight miles from downtown Fort Worth is the gated community of Overlook. In total there will be 142 homes and townhomes located just North of Highwy 820 and Lake Worth Boulevard.

Bathrooms are spacious and stylish inside these units designed by Village Homes at Overlook.

As of press time, there were eight single-family homes and six townhomes under construction and ready for the right buyer.

Benefits of New Construction

In this day and age of multiple offers, over-asking price contracts, and mega buyer anxiety about “best and final” deadlines, new construction can offer a sigh of relief.

New construction comes clean, under warranty, and with low utility bills.

Rarely do builders ask for “best and final” offers. They have done their due diligence and know what price they need to sell the home. With new construction, you can put aside fears of losing out on an offer or that someone will come in thousands over the asking price.

Builder and foundation warranties are also benefits of buying a new home. Another is knowing that your new home has never been lived in, and comes with the utmost energy efficiencies as per city code.

Act now for immediate move-in, if you have time – there will be 142 properties in Overlook

A gated community with easy access to major highways, stores, restaurants, and areas of entertainment is quite a find. New construction starting in the low $300,000 price range is a rarity that will be a thing of the past in the not-so-distant future.

If you are looking for a new community that fits your budget and your lifestyle, go see Village Homes at Overlook.
