“The Polsky Messer Team is comprised of powerhouse agents who are experts in all facets of the industry,” Elliman Western Region CEO Stephen Kotler said in a statement announcing the move. “Douglas Elliman’s Dallas footprint continues to grow, and their wealth of knowledge and strong connections are an invaluable addition to our team.”

Patrick Harris Also Chooses Douglas Elliman

Patrick Harris joined Douglas Elliman Real Estate in December.

The Polsky Messer team was not the only recent addition to the Douglas Elliman agent roster. About a week before Christmas, Patrick Harris joined the team. He boasts four years of experience working primarily in the Dallas luxury market. When making his decision, he noted that Elliman has a large presence in California and New York, two of Dallas’ biggest feeder markets. He’s also been impressed with the way the firm has established itself in the hyper-competitive Los Angeles market in a relatively short amount of time.

“They want to repeat that same success here in Dallas, and I thought I would be really short-selling myself if I didn’t jump on with them early and get with the momentum because we’re kind of like the LA market in a lot of ways,” he says.

Harris was born in raised in Orange County.  Before going into real estate, with worked in the exotic and luxury cars business. He counted Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Michael Jackson, and Nicholas Cage among his celebrity clients. At Elliman, he will be part of the firm’s sports and entertainment division.  That was something that greatly appealed to him due to his career background and his experience closing deals with celebrities and high-profile clients.
