This Divine Dallas Home on a Quiet Cul-De-Sac Is a Dream for Entertaining

Tucked in the Strait Lane estate neighborhood of Dallas, an unparalleled home is on the market. Blending classical style with modern sensibilities, it flawlessly captures the charm of the old and the sleekness of the new. As soon as you see the majestic front façade, which could easily fit into Beverly Hills, and the expansive glass windows at the back of the home, you’ll know exactly what we mean.

Arriving at the exceptional 6,818-square-foot residence, located at 10852 Crooked Creek Court and set on .75 acres, a magical feeling instantly sets in. Perhaps you’ll love the double front door and stately columns most, or the manicured hedges and white brick exterior. It’s all so captivating.

Once inside, that enchantment continues to build. Guests will know they are somewhere special right away as they enter into the well-defined front foyer with high ceilings and exquisite woodwork. Effortlessly, they can step into the formal living room to one side to indulge in a glass of champagne, delicate hors d’oeuvres, and endless laughs. After mingling together by the warm fireplace, you can lead everyone across the hall to continue the evening in the candlelit dining room.

Glamorous entertaining moments like these, just steps from the front door, will make a dazzling impression. But truly, this is just the start of what the home has to offer. If you walk straight through the foyer, the vast great room dramatically emerges. With its striking wall of glass, this space fosters a wonderful connection to nature, allowing you to watch the leaves change or flowers bloom as you go about your day. And if you celebrate Christmas, just imagine the regal spruce that can sit under the double-height ceilings and your children’s eyes lighting up as they rush to see what Santa brought them.

Undoubtedly the heart of the home, this space is poised for all your holiday parties as well. While some curious guests step out onto the patio to enjoy the crisp weather or check out the pool beyond, others may be gathering in the nearby kitchen. A foodie’s dream, it offers two huge islands perfect for expansive buffets, dessert towers, and, of course, Thanksgiving dinner prep. Just around the corner, the stylish and spacious wet bar can also woo your friends with private wine tastings or fun mixology classes.

This home is unlike anything else for sale in Dallas, masterfully blending grand spaces with intimate ones and clean lines with ornate detailing. Currently, it offers three bedrooms, four full and one-half baths, and six living areas, but the upstairs living room can easily become your fourth bedroom suite.

What a beautiful house! Who was the decorator? Great job… everyone involved.

This Hollywood Regency style home serves up a lot of kosher glam! I agree with Barry that the decor is exceptional, and with Candy that the parterre gardens are captivating. However, Candy, darling, you compelled me to work. Only through the internet was the well-defined foyer with its mural wall covering and exquisite light fixture revealed. I also discovered a perfect, one-point perspective dining room photograph, the scale of the sinuous fountain-enhanced pool and its mirroring curved boxwoods, and listing gold: the floor plan!
