This impeccable French-inspired estate caught my eye — not just because I’m a Francophile, but also because my new Netflix binge series is L’Agence, or in English, The Parisian Agency.

L’Agence is about Kretz & Partners, a family of seven, who, working from the living room of their 1930s Art Deco mansion, sell the most luxurious French real estate you can imagine. The show offers a look at some of the most stunning properties for sale in France. You know, French house porn just like CandysDirt.com offers you Texas house porn!

This leads me back to our French-inspired estate. Designed in 1986 by Rawls-Welty architects and built by Dave Fox,  Barringer Custom Homes just extensively remodeled this 8,741-square-foot home and did an absolutely fabulous job.

When most of us think about French architecture, our minds drift to palaces and classic châteaux like Versailles or Château de Chenonceau. However, the French embrace an eclectic style like no one else, and that is what Barringer Custom Homes pulled off here. They’ve taken this French-inspired home and tweaked it to satisfy the most discerning buyers. The red lacquer bar alone has my heart!

Gracing a double lot with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, one powder bath, and separate guest quarters, this home is also in a perfect location. You can see Turtle Creek and the Dallas Country Club golf course and walk to Highland Park High School and Highland Park Middle School.

The principal suite is on the first floor with separate his-and-hers bathrooms, walk-in closets, and a conveniently located office space. The second floor has four guest suites, a media room, exercise room, library, and study. As if that’s not enough, there is a basement game room as well as an additional guest suite with a kitchenette.

You won’t have to leave home for outdoor entertainment as this French-inspired estate has everything you could hope for with a gorgeous pool, spa, putting green, and an essentially no-maintenance turfed yard.

Allie Beth Allman has this beautiful French-inspired estate at 3914 Normandy Avenue listed for $13.5 million.

Mon Dieu! I believe the Kretz family could be jealous!
