The New Kirby Residences in East Village Offer Dining, Shopping, and Easy Living

This week’s High Caliber Home of the Week, sponsored by Lisa Peters of Caliber Home Loans, is actually four homes in a new neighborhood of the East Village near Uptown. They’re called Kirby Residences and agent Courtney Tauriac of Beck Realty is fresh off the finishing touches for these modern townhomes.

These modern stucco homes have three bedrooms, three baths, and a powder bath. There’s a lot of lock-and-leave living packed into these three floors —2,464 square feet of living to be exact.

These Kirby Residences do luxury finishes right. The kitchen features shaker-style custom cabinetry, pristine Calacutta quartz countertops, and an oversized island with breakfast bar and pendant lighting. This Bosch gas cooktop is just perfectly situated below a picture window, hexagonal tile backsplash, and butcher block open shelving.

Speaking of open shelving, the built-in dining hutch with chevron-shaped shelves and triangular cubbies is so perfect I could hug it. The cabinets are a beautiful contrast to the blond European oak engineered wood floors lining the home.

As you enter, there’s an open foyer with tall ceilings and a first-floor bedroom that could be a home office with en-suite bath and under-stair storage. The main level has a spacious open kitchen-dining-living area with a fireplace and balcony with glass railing and wood-paneled walls. Really, a beautiful touch to this outdoor space.

Up on the third floor, there’s a primary bedroom with a luxurious spa-worthy en-suite bath with walk-in shower and standalone bathtub, quartz vanity with double sinks, and a large walk-in closet. The top floor also houses a utility room with cabinets, open shelving, and a window. (That’s a nice-to-have.)

You won’t have to worry about mowing the lawn in your private, fully-fenced backyard with maintenance-free articifical lawn.

Of course, you can’t beat the location. Complete with all the dining and shopping that Lower Greenville and Knox Henderson has to offer, East Village is a mecca for modern townhomes and condos that embrace an industrial-chic aesthetic. And while many of these homes are fantastic for lock-and-leave living, residents and homeowners here are anything but absent. You’ll find residents walking the streets with pups in tow, waving and smiling at each other.

Courtney Tauriac of Beck Realty Residential has listed four units at 2315 Kirby Street for $749,000 each.
