Privacy And Serenity Await Inside This Jaw-Dropping Montecito Mediterranean

Montecito Mediterranean

I cannot remember when I’ve seen a house as beautiful as this Montecito Mediterranean. I think if Prince Harry and Meghan had chosen Dallas, it would have been ideal for them.

Not only is it drop-dead gorgeous, but it’s also private, which we all know is number one on Harry and Meg’s list.

Located in the gated community of Los Arboles, it’s so private the paparazzi could never bribe their way inside. So it’s not only fitting for royalty. It’s an excellent choice for anyone with a high visibility factor that wants to fly under the radar.

There are only 32 homes in this private neighborhood, and they don’t come up for sale often. Quite a few of the owners who built homes here have never left. That says a lot about any neighborhood.

Most of the homes here date from the early 1990s, so when the owners purchased in 2019, they tapped architect Robbie Fusch to redesign and update their home into the beautiful Montecito Mediterranean you see today.

They also hired the incredibly talented Kristin Mullen, owner of Kristin Mullen Designs, to bring their interior vision to life in the 7,973-square-foot home. When you step inside the door, you are quite simply transported. Mullen and the owners worked together to create a truly timeless home that exudes warmth and serenity. Antique mantels, French and Italian stones, beams, and reclaimed doors create that classic and timeless look.

“It’s a pretty perfect house,” Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s listing agent Joan Eleazer said. “We rarely see one so well done. Everything about it is just perfection, and as pretty as it looks, it’s very livable.”

That was what struck me about this Montecito Mediterranean.

From the curb to the expansive grounds, you feel right at home and as if you could kick off your shoes, curl up on a sofa with your favorite furry friend and just enjoy the view. The home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two powder baths. It sits on an acre and a half with a pond, charming courtyards, a pool, and a large outdoor living area.

Eleazer has this Montecito Mediterranean at 27 Robledo Drive listed for $7.995 million.

It’s absolutely magnificent.

Lovely home. The brown leather ottoman is too big and too dark for the room where it is.
