An Artistic Highland Park Cottage Goes Under Contract Lightning Fast

Share News:

It’s no secret the Dallas real estate market is moving fast. Demand is high, so when a great home lists, buyers swarm. Such was the case with this darling Highland Park cottage. With all the bells and whistles, artistic flair, and irresistible charm, it is already in contract with a very lucky buyer just days after listing.

So, what is it that made someone move on this listing so fast? While there’s no one answer, the 2,186-square-foot cottage has tons of elements that add up to it being a perfect place to call home.

Love at first sight is certainly possible considering the enchanting exterior that greets you. Indeed, the brick walkway and adorable shutters seem transported from a fairytale.

Inside, fresh and bright spaces welcome you with open arms. As the seller is an artist, there’s a clear creative air ingrained in the home. This is partially due to the artwork that adorns the walls, which can stay with the next owner or find a home somewhere new as the seller will be holding an art sale before moving. Taking place on August 7, this is an exciting opportunity for any art enthusiast who loves to look for special pieces made locally.

As well as holding light-filled living and dining areas where one can host friends for intimate dinners or fun cocktail parties, there is also an artist studio where the new owner can retreat to create. However, as we’re not all so talented with a paintbrush, this space can also serve as a hobby room for whatever the new owner fancies. There’s already a sizable home office where they can work in peace, so the studio can be all about feeding personal passions.

The primary suite is in a world of its own as well. Effortlessly breezy and with sunshine streaming in, it almost feels like being at a relaxing getaway in California. Further into this cozy main sanctuary, a chic bathroom is poised for blissful moments of wellness, from end-of-the-day bubble baths to revitalizing morning showers.

With one more bedroom and bathroom to offer, this West Highland Park home at 4623 Westside Drive is just the right size. It has enough space to spread out in the elegant Dallas neighborhood without needing to keep up with extensive maintenance.

The speed of this sale is a reflection of the property, the location, and the skills of its listing agent. Susan Bradley of Allie Beth Allman & Associates is representing the delightful home. To take part in the talented seller’s upcoming art sale, stop by from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 7.

When a 2/2 lists for $975,000 then how far above the asking price should one prepare themselves to “offer” amid swarming buyers? Asking for a friend. In the meantime I’ll keep on saving 🙂 and one of these days ha.
