Country Living Deep in The Heart of Dallas?

What we have here is a big ball of what the what? But one that’s definitely worth exploring. It’s a 1,200-square-foot home set on 2.9 acres. There’s an elaborate chicken coop. And horses.

What I do think is lacking some serious emphasis in the write-up is the mega covered patio.

It has it all. Steel beams. A stagger-step roofline. It’s sleek. It’s REAL modern. There’s stonework e’eryhwere. There’s a fully functioning sink, a built-in grill, a marble-top bar, room for tables on tables, and bonus space for YET ANOTHER GRILL. AND A MINI-FRIDGE. Stock it with Squirt, Shasta, or White Claw, I guess, if you’re into that sort of thing.

You could host every gathering ever at this place and hire a live band, build a stage, and STILL have room for a full-size trampoline, assorted lawn equipment, and the aforementioned chickens and ponies. HOW DOES THIS PLACE NOT HAVE A POOL? I mean there’s room for MANY. In-ground and above ground. Why not have one of each?

The house is set a bit back from the road and has a swing gate. We’re talking legit “in the sticks” stuff. Gravel driveway leading up to a cute little brick house built in 1967. The landscaping is a-plenty and that’s another thing this working farm has going for it. All the greenery. And honestly, it’s one of the most well-manicured lawns I’ve ever seen. And that bad boy takes some effort. Because, again, huge.
