Brandon Fleeman Returns to Ebby Halliday

Brandon Fleeman recently joined Ebby Halliday Realtors after spending three years with Compass Realty. It’s a return to the firm where he started his real estate career 13 years ago.

“My client base is really spread across the Metroplex, and Ebby already has its footing in every corner of the Dallas-Fort Worth market,” Fleeman says. “I feel like they give me and my clients better representation across the market.”

He adds that an additional benefit is the fact that the Ebby brand recently expanded into Oklahoma. Fleeman has a vacation home in Broken Bow and also recently sold a property there. His hope is that it will be the first of many more deals there to come.

Fleeman has carved out his place in the market selling many mid-level homes in the $400,000- $600,000 range. He sells around 30-35 homes in that range per year.

“I’ve really tried to make sure my clients know that I’m there to help them or their families with anything,” he says. “That’s really allowed me to kind of carve out a middle of the market business. It’s been a focus of mine and there’s just a lot of opportunity there.”

Before going into real estate, Fleeman worked for nearly a decade in the fashion world. He spent time in both San Francisco and Dallas. While working in fashion, he also flipped a couple of houses on the side. Soon he realized that he actually enjoyed it more than the desk job he was getting burned out on.  

“I loved the idea of helping people and being of service. I really wanted more of my life to be out and about and working with people,” he said. “I kind of discovered this passion that I didn’t know that I had,” 

It took a couple of years for him to garner enough confidence to trade his cushy office job with a steady paycheck for commissioned sales. His personal real estate agent he was worked for Ebby Halliday at the time, making the transition a little easier for him.

“I honestly have not looked back since,” he said. 

After working with Ebby Halliday a few years, he moved on to an eight-year stint at Dave Perry-Miller.  Then three years ago, he was recruited by Compass.  Now he’s glad to be back where it all started.  He says he’s been impressed with the way the firm has managed to keep its core culture even after being acquired by Berkshire Hathaway.

“I think that Chris Kelly, the new CEO, is doing a really fantastic job,” Fleeman said. “It really still is the Ebby Halliday that I was at before, but Chris is only making it better. My goal now is just to continue serving my clients, enjoying building those relationships and being the person of their choice.”
