Think your neighborhood is the best in town? You might be right.

Niche, a comprehensive guide to neighborhoods and schools, released its annual ranking of best places to live, and Richardson, Plano, and Coppell all ranked high on the list.

The site ranked the best cities and suburbs to live in America, as well as the best places to live in Texas based on the cost of living, crime levels, quality of schools, and more. Actually, there’s dozens of different rankings here, so this month we’re focusing on the best neighborhoods in North Texas.

We know the letters we get when we get neighborhood lines wrong (or when agents identify it as such), so just know that these neighborhood parameters are identified by Niche.

Canyon Creek South in Richardson

Canyon Creek South was ranked #5 Best Place to Live in Texas and #1 neighborhood in Richardson. Why? Great Richardson ISD public schools, well-built older homes, and it’s good for families. Nightlife is an A-, which is a big step up from when the only nightlife I frequented is the bar on Main Street in downtown Richardson, designated only by a big red sign that said Bar.
