Far + Dang East Village Condo Up for Grabs, Open House This Sunday

East VillageIf you’re a fan of Modern homes, it’s likely a design from the duo of Bang Dang and Rizwan Faruqui, who together bring more than 30 years of experience and design aesthetic to projects all over Dallas — including this East Village condo David Griffin & Company Realtor Eddie Rodriguez pointed us to this week.

East Village, in fact, seems to be a hotbed of new Modern homes, from architects and builders like Joshua Nimmo, Cobalt Homes, Conrad Homes, and Alan Kagan putting up sleek, modern contemporary homes, condos, and townhomes throughout the area.

In fact, Kagan was the builder of this listing, too.

Faruqui and Dang are Far + Dang, and their work can be found in Midway Hollow, East Dallas, Irving, and, yes, East Village, where their 4402 Deere Street project is home to what Rodriguez said is the “best of the best in Dallas’ booming East Village.”

How much do we like this project? We already wrote about Unit One, which was chosen by Lisa Peters at Caliber Home Loans as a High Caliber Home of the Week in 2017.

Rodriguez and David Griffin have listed Unit 3, a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath townhome full of light and unexpected touches.

The two-story floor plan provides a first-floor master and second-floor living areas, all benefiting from the copious natural light flooding in from windows.

A galley kitchen could feel narrow, but the wall of windows opposite the cabinetry make it feel spacious and airy.

“This is a residence for those who demand superior architecture and craftsmanship,” Rodriguez said.

The East Village home has been on the market for about a week, and an open house is being held Sunday, March 17, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It is listed for $479,500. To see more photos, click here.
