I love that house! I got to see it many years ago. Definitely calls for a special buyer. I do hope it’s not torn down. Keep us informed if an open house is scheduled!
It will not be torn down. The dome was not original to the structure, it was added many years after. I have lived in the neighborhood since 1992 and a Realtor.

I want the dome back on it!
I liked the look of the domed arbor, but every time I drove by when the wisteria was blooming, I wondered how many times people got bee stings!

The geodesic dome was not original to the home?? That is so surprising to me!
Shocking in many ways
Love that house! Hopefully someones buys it and saves it.
I feel fairly certain from what I’ve read the dome was an original feature to the house. This article has a wonderful photo from inside of it looking out. https://www.dallasobserver.com/news/a-roundhouse-kick-to-the-round-house-7105274
