Russwood Acres Home Features Luxe Living For Feathered Friends

Seriously, how many homes in Russwood Acres can claim to have award-winning chicken coops? We know of only one, and it’s a listing from Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate’s Lori Kircher.
This home was completely remodeled and expanded by builder Jim Kienast for a designer. There’s tons of great fixtures and built-ins, a really fun mix of rustic and contemporary elements … and did we mention the fresh eggs?
Kircher says that the coop, which currently houses five chickens, is a custom job. No word on whether the birds are negotiable, or if they have a rental agreement. Chances are that the seller might counter for a 10 percent of annual egg laying production should the birds stay with the home. According to the listing, there are some hand-blown German glass light fixtures that are definitely excluded, though. And considering the listing price of $1.4 million for this four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home, you know that you’ll want some wiggle room with your grocery budget. A couple dozen eggs a week would do it!
Oh, and the house and heavily treed, half-acre lot are pretty great, too.
That backyard patio is begging for a nice hen party!
I see what you did there! <3
