A home of former United States Congressman and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Jim Wright, has recently become available for sale in the Overton Woods neighborhood of Fort Worth.

In 1987 Wright became the 48th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. He resigned amidst scandal in 1989. After Washington, D.C., Wright and his wife Betty retired from civil service back in Fort Worth where he taught classes at TCU until his death in 2015.
