Ticket Giveaway: Turtle Creek Tour of Homes
Share News:
High-rise lovers won’t want to miss this year’s Turtle Creek Tour of Homes benefiting the Turtle Creek Association. The April 9 tour, which highlights some of the classic and luxurious buildings that line the neighborhood’s eponymous thoroughfare, is also a great event for design hounds craving inspiration.
To me, no unit on this year’s tour is more inspiring than Mike Wilkins Park Towers unit. The sleek, modern interiors with a distinct midcentury vibe are absolutely stunning. And if you’re lucky, you could win tickets to see Wilkins’ home — and the other units, too — for free.
To enter to win our drawing for one pair of tickets to the 16th Annual Turtle Creek Tour of Homes on April 9, 2017 you must comment below telling us your favorite Turtle Creek high-rise. Only entries with valid email addresses will be considered. Comments must be left by noon on Friday, March 31, to be considered. The winner will be chosen through a random drawing and notified.
Good luck!
Something about the proportions and scale of The Vendome has always done something for me.
I have been fond of The Claridge since my teen years in the ’80s. She is special, the librarian, and established in her own way and rather photogenic (especially the creek fountain view, of course) – with interesting outward views from within as well. I do love other TC buildings for many other reasons to include exterior architectural detail/style/scale/locations, however, The Claridge had me the earliest in my life and it’s even better today than then.
My favorite high rise is The Vendome!
Gold Crest!!! Those wrap-around balconies are fantastic!
Love the Claridge. It’s got a great location and views that don’t get blocked.
My favorite high-rise is “Park Towers on Turtle Creek” because of it mid-century international references and abundance of well maintained mature trees situated directly on Turtle Creek.
I’ve lived in them all from the Vendome down! Just finished a renovation at 21 Turtle Creek—can’t beat the price, and the rooms are much larger than what I had at the Vendome…..really love my new unit!
My favorite TC high rise is 21 Turtle Creek, where I have lived for the past 8 years. The history of this building is like no other and it has a wonderful, mixed community of young and “experienced”, singles and couples. Some of the kindest people I know are both dear friends and neighbors. Coming in a close second would have to be Gold Crest, the other mid-century grande dame of the boulevard.
I am a big fan of 21 Turtle Creek. Beyond the building itself, I love the use of the green space around the building.
Love the look of the Gold Crest!
