You’re Invited: Get a Leg up on The Holidays with La Cornue and Capital Distributing

Books 1

I feel a bit like the White Rabbit.  I’m not quite late for a very important date, but it’s razor close.  Tomorrow Capital Distributing, Luxe Interiors, La Cornue and author Betty Lou Phillips will host a little Christmas nosh and demonstration at Capital’s showroom at 2910 N. Stemmons Freeway from noon to 2 p.m.

Phillips will also be signing copies of her two books … The Night Before Christmas in Texas and The Night Before Christmas in Paris.  You know which book I pinched a copy of … 🙂

You’ll also get to see La Cornue’s stunning ranges all fired up and in action as chefs demonstrate how to whip up things like Crab Crepes, black-eyed pea jambalaya, and the like for your upcoming holiday gatherings.

La Cornue 2

And before you think (as I did until my super-secret preview this morning) that La Cornue’s ranges might mean selling a child or at the least selling a car, there’s good news.  There’s a more reasonable line of ranges that aren’t in the 5-figures.

I got a huge demo that I’ll be writing up later but if you want to get the lowdown as well as a light lunch, head on over to Capital TOMORROW from noon to 2 p.m.

I’d say you get to meet me, too, but unfortunately I’ve got other plans.  🙁  Maybe next time…

Full details after the jump …

LUXE Event 11.12

Remember:  High-rises, HOAs and renovation are my beat. But I also appreciate modern and historical architecture balanced against the YIMBY movement.  If you’re interested in hosting a Candysdirt.com Staff Meeting event, I’m your guy. In 2016, my writing was recognized with Bronze and Silver awards from the National Association of Real Estate Editors.  Have a story to tell or a marriage proposal to make?  Shoot me an email [email protected].
