We know that there are a ton of midcentury modern homes in Sylvania Dells, an area of Lake Highlands where architecture is eye candy. We featured a unique listing from Ed Murchison just a short jog from today’s High-Caliber Home of the Week, and it was a midcentury modern with colored paneling and a unique floor plan, too.

However, 10741 Eden Roc surpasses all expectations with more that 4,000 square feet of wide open space on an acre lot. This home has been painstakingly preserved, with gorgeous expansive floors and the coolest open concept. You know, Realtors often put the words “MUST SEE!” in a listing description, and I usually just glaze over it. For this home, though, with its incredible windows, amazing back deck, and cool master suite, I really, REALLY want to see it!

All of these things — top-of-the-line design, amazing architecture, and perfectly preserved interiors — make this a high-caliber home. A home like this deserves a lender that’s going to look out for you and make sure that your dream becomes a reality. That’s what Lisa Peters at Caliber Home Loans does with her clients. She’s a mortgage professional that takes the time to make sure that there are no financing hiccups at closing. Find out what Lisa Peters can do for you today.

Now, this home is something spectacular, with wood grain and terrazzo everywhere, cool details, wide-open windows, and upgraded appliances. There are five bedrooms, four full baths, two living areas and two dining areas, and and designer lighting all inside the Wallace Elementary attendance zone for just $825,000.

“This estate-sized property has been extensively renovated with an eye for detail and craftsmanship,” says listing agent David Collier. There’s a huge living and dining area that opens to the chef’s kitchen and breakfast area, he adds, with poured terrazzo throughout. I love that fireplace, which reminds me of those cool hibachi restaurants where floating fireplaces separate dining areas. Can you just imagine the parties you could host in this home? Unreal!

The master suite is just gigantic, too, at 22 x 20, and it has incredible views of the wooded lot surrounding the home. The master bath has a large jacuzzi tub, a free-standing shower, dual vanities with vessel sinks, and a walk-in closet. Truly, it’s a dream come true!

Of course, you’ll love the deck, which will be perfect with a sun shade or pergola, an outdoor kitchen and a few cool chairs. If it were me, I’d consider putting in a kidney-shaped pool just to complete the midcentury effect. This home is truly a gem to be discovered!

I’m not sure how I feel about this home. The floor to ceiling windows is a plus but the the interior doesn’t feel like a home and if I was a child I wouldn’t want to have front row views to my parents bedroom………eeewwwwww ( just the thought)

Hang on, I’ll add some to the discussion. I toured the house — the kids have their own wing.
