Townhome Front

Renting in the Oak Lawn area can by mighty expensive if you don’t know the area. Lucky for you, Erica Sutton and the fabulous folks at LocalDwelling.com have this great town home on Bowser Avenue. It has two bedrooms, two and a half baths, and plenty of windows.

Townhome Dining

Unit No. 109 at 4310 Bowser is a split-level, so the entry leads to the living room, which has a little patio perfect for grilling. There’s a fireplace, too. In a small landing space above the living area is the dining area, which you see here. It’s partitioned by a railing, and leads to the kitchen.

Townhome KitchenThis kitchen is very basic, so you won’t be cooking too many gourmet meals in there, but for a single who plans on enjoying the fabulous restaurants within walking distance? Well, there’s a refrigerator with plenty of room for takeout and doggie bags.

Townhome Master

The master bedroom features a built-in bookcase and a cool little balcony. It’s not spacious, but it’ll fit a king-size bed and a couple of night stands, for sure. I’m not wild about the carpet throughout this unit, but it’s listed for $1,450 a month, which, considering the location and the 1,800-square-foot size, I’ll just invest in a couple of rugs, thanks.

Townhome BathroomThe master bath is clean, and it’s got granite counters and the same faux-tile linoleum that you see in the kitchen and living areas. Again, if you expect this place to be busting at the seams with upgrades, well, you’re forgetting that the location and price outweighs all that!
