Finally! Cool-Air-In-Dallas House Porn: Blue, Blue My Love Is Blue

Share News:

Trying to chill you down even more here with this gorgeous hunk of a house listed by Stevie Chaddick, who recently left Allie Beth Allman after yearsto sell real estate at Keller Williams Elite at Preston Center. (My psychic tells me many lunches at Sevys in my future now!) Excited for Stevie, but even more excited over her newest listing: 3812 Southwestern. This delicious, cool-blue stucco facade baby doll was built in 2004 by Jim Shaw and no cost was spared — Stevie tells me the back yard (80 foot lot, huge for PC) was completely re-done by Lamberts, and it is so private there you think you are in your own little oasis. 7,618 square feet, the home has five bedrooms and 6.2 bathrooms, a 500-bottle wine vault, and a three-car garage on that generous lot. This would have come in handy last week in Pebble Beach: five fireplaces. Also would have been handy  — heated floors in the master spa bath. The master suite in this home is 1,000 square feet, larger than most apartments! Extra touches include CAT 5 wiring, extraordinary appliances, and a security system to catch, I guess, anyone lifting the vino out of that wine vault. Listed at $3,150,000 and yes, I know DCAD has it appraised at just over $2,127,140 but Stevie tells me the owner found himself a real sharp tax agent.

So what do you think? Pretty home, no? Overpriced or is the price just right?

This house is good enough to eat but I'm not too keen about the fleurs over the stove.

I'm with Bob, but I am liking the swankitude of the fabulous covered patio veranda thingy with the fireplace. Perfect for Dallas winters!

Agree: Patio to die for. What is with the two chairs at the end of the bed?

I don't understand how can it be appraised for like $100K less than the asking price?

The blue exterior is refreshing and pretty, and on a whole the finishes are lovely. But if the kitchen is the bosom of the home, that floral bouquet over the stove is a big Marie Antoinette tatoo atop it’s cleavage. As a buyer, I would consider a cosmetic peel for that paint job.
