ebby halliday home tour

The home at 4626 Dorset Rd. is one of 11 marvelous properties on the Ebby Halliday Home Tour this Sunday. This home is open from 2-4 p.m.

In the pantheon of tony Dallas neighborhoods, Preston Hollow stands out as one of the most beloved. It features tree-lined streets, a variety of architecturally significant homes, and easy access to well-known public and private schools. In addition, Preston Hollow is only minutes from both the central business and arts districts.

Many famous Dallasites make their homes here, such as President George W. Bush, Mark Cuban, Andy Beal, and former mayor Laura Miller.

“Part of the draw is the stunning collection of properties in Preston Hollow, from ultra-luxury Mediterraneans to chic clean-lined contemporary homes,” said Keith Newman, sales manager at Ebby Halliday’s Little White House. “Buyers have such a range of options here, and they’re high-end properties with a lot of stand-out amenities.”

Ebby Halliday Realtors is pleased to have the opportunity to show 11 incredible Preston Hollow homes on the market now. To showcase these standout properties, the Preston Center office and Ebby’s Little White House have created a home tour Sunday for the public.

“Ebby Halliday knows Preston Hollow and we’ve collaborated for decades with homeowners there to feature their properties in the best light and bring in lots of interested buyers,” said Ginger Gill, sales manager for Ebby’s Preston Center Office. “For buyers, our associates offer extensive expertise of the neighborhood—they know Preston Hollow intimately and can share that knowledge with them.”

Home tour times are staggered between 1 and 5 p.m. so buyers have the most time to visit these stunning properties.

Claridge condos turtle creek

This is part three in a four-part series. Read parts one and two, and check back tomorrow for part four!

The Jefferson’s were all about “movin’ on up,” and that’s exactly where we’re going with this third in our quad-fecta of Claridge condos that will set the stage for the March 22nd anniversary of the Candysdirt.com Staff Meeting event.

This 2,876 square foot home is a full three bedroom, 3.5 bathrooms listed with Ebby’s Penny Rivenbark for $1.395 million. Located on the 15th floor, we’re eight-to-ten floors higher than our first two homes. Add to that a more north-facing view from the opposite side of the building and the views obviously change dramatically. Instead of a distant city there’s more in-your-face drama from neighboring buildings along with winding Turtle Creek views. And how many can boast a view of one of Dallas’ few Frank Lloyd Wright buildings, the Kalita Humphreys theater?

I’m calling this unit a “refresh” because while your wallpaper steamer may be working overtime, the fundamentals are very nice. (Although Rivenbark told me one of the first prospective buyers loved the wallpaper, and you might too!) There’s only really one minor project for me (and you’ll faint when I tell you).
